Steamed rice – 1cup
Gongura pickle – ½ cup
Salt to taste
Oil – 1 tsp
Mustard seeds – ½ tsp
Groundnuts – 1 tbsp
Cumin seeds/ jeera – ½ tsp
Whole dry red chilli – 1 (chopped)
Mix the gongura pickle with the steamed rice in a bowl and keep aside.
Keep the pan on medium heat, start to tempering with all ingredients given above.
Now mix the gongura rice thoroughly and add salt to the taste.
Serve hot and enjoy it with Pappads, raita etc…
I served gongura rice with Ridge guard dal / kootu and pappad
