Gongura / Sore Leaves Pickled Rice:

Ingredients:

Steamed rice – 1cup

Gongura pickle – ½ cup

Salt to taste

Tempering:

Oil – 1 tsp

Mustard seeds – ½ tsp

Groundnuts – 1 tbsp

Cumin seeds/ jeera – ½ tsp

Whole dry red chilli – 1 (chopped)

Method:

  • Mix the gongura pickle with the steamed rice in a bowl and keep aside.

  • Keep the pan on medium heat, start to tempering with all ingredients given above.

  • Now mix the gongura rice thoroughly and add salt to the taste.

  • Serve hot and enjoy it with Pappads, raita etc…
