Onion Raita:

DSC01763   DSC01780 Ingredients:

Red onions – 1 large
Fresh Curd / yogurt – 1 cup
Salt to taste
Cilantro – freshly chopped
Red chili powder – 1/8 tsp
Cumin / jeera powder – ¼ tsp


  • First slice the onion into thin size.
  • Beat the fresh yogurt / curd nicely. Now add the sliced onions, red chili, jeera powder, cilantro and salt to the taste.
  • Mix all the ingredients well and garnish with a pinch of red chili powder on top.
